Origins

Hercules beetle (Dynastes hercules) is the largest beetle of the family to which it belongs. He lives in the rainforests of Central and South America.

The name was given by the ability to lift weights 850 times larger than his body.

Number Hercules beetle populations is in continuous decline due to habitat loss (deforestation, water pollution and air).

Reproduction Hercules beetle
