Medium sized breed, bred for hundreds of years in Japan. They are found in large numbers in the city KAI (Yamanashi Department), a region surrounded by mountains.
They are also called Kai tora-ken, tora inu Dog or Tiger. Because age is one of the favorite breeds of dog breeders in Japan.
Pets are mainly but are used occasionally for hunting.
Food Kai Ken
Tora Inu, as it is called, needs a proper diet to lead a healthy life.

Medium sized dog, well proportioned with a strong body structure and well defined muscles.
Its dog mountains of Japan are strong extremities and joints well defined. The coat can be one of the colors: black, brown or dark brown.
One that covers his head is rough and right, and one that covers its body is soft and dense. The forehead is broad, strong muzzle, very sharp teeth and powerful jaws well embossed.
The eyes are relatively small, slightly triangular, dark brown. Muscles are big and strong, short legs, joints are robust and resilient. The move is loose and elastic.
Males aprosimativ 50cm, 47cm and females. Both sexes may vary in height 5cm. The weight varies between 10 and 26 kg.
