Origins

In the nineteenth century, Norfolk spaniel hunting dog was originally only in England. Once century is coming to an end, spaniel became more polished and has slowed development, separating Welsh springer spaniel and is in English Springer Spaniel.

English springer spaniel was officially recognized by the English Kennel Club in 1902 and in 1927 the breed was recognized by the American Kennel Club.
