Origins

Artois Hound of the Hound is the younger brother of Saint Hubert. This dog breed was appreciated by the royal courts during the reigns of Luduvic 12th and Henry 4th.

Today's popularity declined in May and is a rare breed. Bloodhound is descended from. Over time the breed has undergone some surgery and was to disappear, but helps keep pure.

In the Mid 20th century the breed almost disappeared. In the '70s Mr. Audrechy in particular decided to reconstruct the breed specimens left. Now there are about 500 copies purebred.
